The Initial Screening analysis shows the Canadian Pacific Rail route and W. 7th Street as the two main routes that best meet the study’s Purpose and Need and should be evaluated more thoroughly.

The I-35E and Shepard Road trunk routes do not meet the study’s Purpose and Need and are recommended for removal. However, segments of Shepard Road may be considered during detailed analysis for combination with the W. 7th Street or Canadian Pacific rail routes.
